Architect or Graduate

About Michael Mckeon Architecture is an emerging studio specialising in residential new builds, alterations and extensions.

We are looking for a newly registered architect or experienced graduate to join and grow with our studio.

The role will involve working across multiple exciting residential projects on all stages from concept design through to construction administration.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality documentation packages during all stages including design development, town planning submissions, construction documentation and schedules.
  
• Produce high-quality design packages including concept design drawings and renderings.
  
• Prepare internal and detail joinery packages.
  
• Manage and work on revit and sketchup models.
  
• Liaise with consultants throughout all stages.
  
• Participate and attend construction meetings on site and assist in administration during construction.
  

Skills and experience

• Proficiency in Revit, Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite essential
  
• Proficiency in Enscape would be beneficial
  
• Experience in residential projects essential 
  
• Enthusiasm to learn and grow in an emerging studio
  
• Strong documentation skills
  
• Strong attention to construction detailing
  
• Solid understanding of the planning processes would be beneficial 
  
• Experience with interiors
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Excellent communication skills
