The role :
We are seeking an Architectural Graduate (Masters) to join our team in Surry Hills, in a permanent role. The successful candidate will work closely with our senior architects and designers to assist in the design and development of architectural projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of architectural projects
  
• Prepare drawings, models, and other design materials
  
• Conduct research on building materials, codes, and regulations
  
• Collaborate with senior architects and designers to develop design concepts
  
• Attend client meetings and assist in the preparation of presentations
  
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents
  
• Participate in site visits and inspections
  

Position specifications :

• Master's degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification, recognised in Australia
  
• 2 + years experience working in an architecture or design related business
  
• Working knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures of architecture.
  
• Working knowledge of building materials, their function and physical properties, and construction methods.
  
• Skilled in Revit/BIM, CAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign)
  
• Basic knowledge of structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering as related to buildings.
  
• Basic knowledge of applicable codes, laws, rules and standards regulating the design and construction of buildings.
  
• Basic knowledge of building costs.
  
• Ability to creatively portray architectural elements as a complete design.
  
• Ability to express ideas effectively both orally and in writing.
  
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with clients and technical experts.
  
• Critical thinking and the ability to find solutions to complex problems.
  
• A collaborative approach to delivering projects.
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills
  
• Must have the right to live and work in Australia
