Architect Full-time Keeley Green Interior Design is a boutique, design focused studio located in Newstead, Brisbane. We specialise in high-end residential, boutique commercial, progressive over 50’s developments and Superyacht projects.
Conveniently based in Newstead, widely considered the design hub of Brisbane, close to public transport, walking distance to suppliers, retail and an abundance of cafés and restaurants.
Due to continued growth, an opportunity is available for an Architect to join our collaborative, professional team. The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:
Bachelor of Architecture and/or Master’s degree in Architecture
Min 5+ years' professional work experience with exposure to commercial, and high-end residential highly regarded.
Proficiency in working in AutoCAD and/or REVIT, 3D modelling and rendering, Adobe Suite
Lead the design process and presenting design concepts to clients
Openness to learn new programs including Programa - project management software
Reviewing and approving project plans and drawings
Openness in developing sustainability initiatives and concepts for inclusion in building and/or interior design solutions which are fit for purpose, practical, cost effective, comply with relevant design and regulatory standards will be an advantage
Overseeing the construction phase to ensure that it complies with design specifications, regulations consistent with building codes for Queensland and the ability to make decisions independently.
In-depth understanding of construction details, joinery, and shop drawings
Providing technical guidance to team members as required
Managing budgets and schedules for multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and build relationships at all levels.
Time management and project management skills with the ability to run multiple projects concurrently.
