FROM HANNAFORD DESIGN STUDIO
The client had recently purchased a Victorian home which had lost many of its original features and a renovation from a previous owner that did not reflect the new owner’s aesthetic however we had good bones to work with and the space was begging for a new lease of life.
The concept was an overall light colour scheme with a touch of darker accents and sublet features throughout the home to create an inviting and calming space. It was also important to connect the old and new together thus reinstalling the original features where possible to the original Victorian part of the space.
Overall, the vision was to create a home with meaning along with clean lines, a collective mix with personality yet ensuring a timeless design.
This was achieved by wide planked timber flooring mostly throughout, VJ panels in the kitchen and living area with sleek concrete floors and bespoke steel framed doors and windows. Cooler tones and textures with the right touch of colour for the ultimate opportunity to add in designer lighting and bespoke details throughout.
